It is First Tee — Triangle and TriGolf’s ambition and intent to provide a friendly, safe, and comfortable environment for the diverse membership, public community, and guests who visit TriGolf. Practices and policies will be established by First Tee — Triangle staff, members of the First Tee — Triangle Board of Directors, and TriGolf Management.
It is the intent of TriGolf to limit rules and regulations to the minimum required for the mutual enjoyment of all members and guests. Any rules violations may be subject to membership revocation without refund. Members are responsible for their actions as well as their guests’ actions while on property.
As a member, I agree to conform to and be bound by the rules and regulations of TriGolf, and I understand they may be amended from time to time. I understand that membership prices are subject to change at the management’s
discretion.
General Rules:
- TriGolf is a non-smoking/vaping facility.
- Only range balls rented from TriGolf may be used on the driving range.
- When using the putting green, The Acorn, TriGolf asks that personal golf balls be used.
- No range balls will be removed from TriGolf, and any unused range balls will be turned into the TriGolf desk before leaving the property.
- Personal coolers and outside alcohol are not permitted on TriGolf property unless provided by a caterer for a private event.
- Only TriGolf staff are permitted behind the facility’s counters and in service areas.
- No animals are allowed at TriGolf at any time unless the animal is covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
I understand that as a member of TriGolf, my membership is non-assessable and that I am assuming no liabilities whatsoever in connection with my membership other than the payment of an applicable initiation fee, applicable membership dues, and any fees incurred by me, my family members, and my guests in the use of TriGolf, and that membership to TriGolf does not confer upon me any ownership of TriGolf property, assets, or losses.
I understand that Memberships are non-transferable and must be in the name of one individual who is considered the "owner" of the membership and who is approved by TriGolf at the time of joining.
I understand that management has the right to close facilities at any time due to, but not limited to, weather, maintenance, programming, and events. No refunds or proration of dues will be given to members during periods where TriGolf is closed.
I understand that family memberships include the membership owner, spouse, and dependents age 23 years and younger. Once the dependent turns 24 years old, they will age out of the family membership and no longer be considered a member of TriGolf.
As a member of TriGolf, I am entitled to the following member benefits:
- Unlimited range balls with no restrictions for myself and any included family members only.
- Range balls cannot be given from my membership to anyone not on my membership and in doing so, I may be subject to membership revocation.
- Use of the Toptracer technology at any time on the outside 28 bays during operating hours, unless reserved for a private event or programming.
- Use of two indoor/outdoor Trackman bays with 7 days advanced booking. An additional fee applies.
- 20% discount off full retail priced items in the golf shop. Discount does not apply to food and beverage.
- Exclusive pricing on any special orders placed by myself and my family members who are named on my membership.
- Monthly/quarterly member events.
- No operating or capital assessments.
Membership Implementation Date:
My membership will begin on the first day of the month selected by me. If I want to begin my membership earlier than the first of the month, a prorated fee will be charged at the time of joining through the end of the month. If joining under an annual membership, the full 12-month payment will be owed plus the prorated fee for the current month.
New members have a fifteen-day period from acceptance in which to revoke membership and receive a refund, but if myself or an eligible family member has utilized the facility, I am responsible for the payment of all fees at the normal rate.
A valid email address is required to be on file with TriGolf. Statements and communication will be sent to this email address, and it is my responsibility to update the Director of Golf with any changes in contact information.
Billing and Automatic Draft:
Membership dues are paid in advance and a valid credit card or debit card is required to be on file with TriGolf which will be used to pay account balances. At the time of joining, my credit/debit card will be charged in full for my first month of membership or my first 12 consecutive months of membership, if paying annually. When paying annually, membership dues are locked in for 12 consecutive months from my membership start/renewal date. It is my responsibility to update the Director of Golf on any changes in billing information and I understand the below billing structure.
If paying monthly: On the 1st of each month, my credit/debit card on file will be charged to clear my account balance for the upcoming month.
If paying annually: After my initial 12-month period, my credit/debit card on file will be charged in full for the following 12 consecutive months.
Payments:
Payments are automatically drafted on the 1st of each month for monthly memberships. For annual memberships, payment will be drafted on the renewal date for the following 12 months. A late fee of 5% may be charged if my account is not paid for in full by the 10th of each month. Once my account becomes 30 days past due, all facility privileges will be suspended. Once my account becomes 45 days past due, my membership will be terminated. No refunds will be given and payment in full will still be due. If payment is not made, my account will be turned over to legal services for collection. TriGolf’s goal is to keep all member accounts in good standing. If I foresee a problem with payment, I will contact the Director of Golf so an amicable solution can be reached for both parties.
For both annual and monthly memberships, account balances may be paid before the automatic card charging date directly with TriGolf. In doing so, the payment must be received before the automatic card charging date to avoid any double payment. In the event of a double payment, refunds can be requested by contacting the Director of Golf. I understand if any amounts are rejected by my financial institution, a penalty fee up to the maximum amount allowable by law may be added to my account and the outstanding balance is due in full.
Membership Alterations:
The owner of the membership is tasked with communicating in writing any alteration in membership status. Any alteration of membership requires a minimum of 30 days written notice whereby, if notice reaches the Director of Golf by the 5th of the month, the alteration can be made on the 1st of the following month.
Valid forms of written communication include a hand-written letter, emailing the Director of Golf, or using the premade membership alteration forms that can be found at the TriGolf desk. Text messages requesting alteration are not accepted. All forms of communication should include the following information: first and last name of the membership owner, the membership alteration information, and applicable signature.
For example, if switching to an Individual Membership from a Family Membership to be effective June 1st, notice must reach the Director of Golf no later than May 5th.
Adding and Removing Family Members:
Adding a family member to an Individual Membership will cause an increase in membership dues. If a family member is added during a period that has already been paid for, payment for the difference between the old membership rate and the new membership rate for the remainder of that period will be required.
If, for example, an Annual Individual member adds a spouse, payment will be required for the difference between the Annual Individual membership rate and the Annual Family membership rate beginning on the first day of the month where the spouse was added through the end of the annual membership period that had been paid for. If wanting to add a family member prior to the first of a month, a prorated fee can be paid from the date that the family member was added through the end of the month.
Family members can be removed from the membership on the last day of the month provided notice is given to the Director of Golf by the 5th of the month. Dropping a family member may potentially cause a decrease in dues and this could leave a credit balance at the end of an Annual Membership period. The credit balance can be used to reduce future billing of membership dues, or a refund can be requested by contacting the Director of Golf.
Hold Harmless:
I acknowledge that the use of TriGolf is undertaken with knowledge of some risk and possible injury. I accept all risk of injury to myself, my family, and my guests and I am relieving TriGolf, as well as their managers, officers, employees, directors, and affiliates from all loss, cost, claims, injury, damage, or liability sustained or incurred by me, my family, and my guests resulting from or arising out of use of any TriGolf facilities, events, and programs.
